Carl Hester MBE - Trainer

Carl is a world renowned dressage rider and trainer. He is an Olympic gold medallist (London 2012) and (Rio 2016) He has competed at five Olympic Games (Athens, Sydney, Barcelona, London, Rio) and is a multi-medallist at European and World Championship level. He is also the holder of more than 71 National Dressage titles.

Carl Hester joined an elite band of equestrian names when he was presented with the prestigious British Horse Society Queen’s Award for Equestrianism from Her Majesty The Queen, at Royal Windsor Horse Show 2015. He has been Becky’s trainer since 2012.

Lee Harris - Therapist

Lee has studied Remedial and Sports Injuries Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Hot Stone Massage and recently Equine and Human Low Level Laser Therapy.

He also regularly attends Equine Science Conferences nationwide to keep abreast of the latest developments across all disciplines. Lee is also an FEI permitted therapist.

Sam Head
Farrier

During the last twenty years Sam has worked on many Olympic horses and shod for the best in the equestrian world, being flown abroad by clients at times.  He has built on experience gained and works with the vets towards improving and maintaining soundness in all horses for all disciplines.

Hampden Veterinary Hospital

Hampden are very proud to have served the animal owners of Aylesbury Vale, The Chilterns and Thames Valley for over 80 years, and to be one of only about 150 RCVS Accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospitals in the UK out of 4,000 practices. In addition, their Equine Practice, Hampden Equine (formerly known as Baskerville Horgan & Partners), and Farm Practice are also both accredited with the RCVS in their own right.

McGregor & Pringuer

McGregor & Pringuer is the UK’s pre-eminent equine osteopathy practice. Stuart McGregor is the originator of modern animal osteopathy, has developed his own Body Adjustment© techniques and is internationally recognised as the definitive source on the subject.  He is often referred to as the father of modern animal osteopathy.  Over the last 20 years, Stuart has trained many of the leading UK and overseas practitioners at the renowned Osteopathic Centre for Animals where he is Centre Principal. Iain Pringuer has been working with Stuart and treating horses all over Britain and in Europe since 2006, building a very successful client base across all equine disciplines and continuing to spread the work of osteopathy with horses and advising clients in top dressage, showing, racing  and international mounted games.

He graduated from De Montfort university in 2001 after studying for his first bachelor’s degree with honours in sports science. Following on to study for a second degree, he graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. With a deep interest in the welfare of animals, Iain extended his studies to animal osteopathy and graduated from the Osteopathic Centre for Animals in 2006.

Iain has lectured human and equine biomechanics and anatomy and is a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council.

Sue Connolly EMRT

Sue qualified in Remedial Massage and Sports Injury in 1995, with the ‘Northern Institute of Massage’ and travelled as Sports Therapist with the Women’s Cycle Racing Association British Team to their German Internationale Thuringen Rundfahrt in 1996 and again in 1997.

The Physical Therapy Clinic in Stratford-upon-Avon has been her base for 15 years.

To extend her range of treatments Sue became a practitioner of ‘Bowen Technique’ in 1998, having qualified with the ‘Bowen Academy of Australia’. Since then she has attended three further types of human myofascial release courses as part of her continued professional development.

From 1999 – 2008 she served as UK co-ordinator for EMRT and also contributed to student training. She is now part of the EMRT/ECL&R current research group.
